Avue Technologies Chosen by Federal Government as “Selected Offeror” for Human Resources Line of Business
Selection Advances Avue in Process to Designate Private Sector Preferred Federal HR Services Providers
October 23, 2007
Washington, DC – Avue Technologies, the premier private sector human resources shared service center (SSC) for the Federal Government, today announced that it has been chosen as one of the “selected offerors” for the government’s Human Resources Line of Business (HR LOB). The selection means that Avue has met all fitness requirements.
“We are extremely pleased to have been chosen for HR LOB,” said Linda Rix, Co-CEO of Avue. “We are confident that the shared service platform that Avue provides excels at meeting the government’s HR LOB requirements, and we are looking forward to the next round of the selection process.”
Avue is the only provider, public or private, that offers agencies a fully hosted subscription service that lowers costs and dramatically increases government efficiency and agility. The Avue platform is designed to address all aspects of public sector human capital management. Avue’s platform is accessed by everyone in the organization from the desktop and addresses such processes as performance optimization, position management, compensation management, organizational architecture, recruitment and placement, organizational forecasting, personnel security, payroll integration, and succession planning, among others.
The HR LOB initiative was launched to create government-wide, modern, cost effective, standardized, and interoperable human resource solutions that provide common core functionality to support the strategic management of federal human capital. In August 2005, an 11-agency LOB task force selected the first five public centers of excellence—the Departments of Treasury, Defense and Health and Human Services as well as the Interior Department’s National Business Center and the Agriculture Department’s National Finance Center.
“Avue provides a world-class workforce management platform that will enable federal agencies to meet their HR needs. We are truly excited about being chosen as a ‘selected offerer’ and look forward to showing the government more of what we can do to serve them,” Rix concluded.
