Avue Technologies Resellers Receive Two of Three Federal Government Human Resources Line of Business Awards
Designates Avue as a Private Sector Preferred Federal HR Services Provider

Washington, DC – Avue Technologies, the premier private sector human resources shared service center (SSC) for the Federal Government, today announced that it has been named by the General Services Administration (GSA) as an awardee for the government’s Human Resources Line of Business (HR LOB). Avue resellers Carahsoft Technology Corporation and Allied Technology Group (ATG) received two of three of the GSA awards.

Avue was chosen following a rigorous selection process. After submitting an application in September, Avue was chosen as one of the “selected offerors” in October, meaning that Avue met all of the fitness requirements. Avue then made a formal presentation to demonstrate its capabilities for processing personnel and managing payroll, time and attendance. Finally, Avue was selected for the HR LOB. Being selected gives Avue the green light to expand payroll and other functions for current clients.

In August 2005, an 11-agency LOB task force selected the first five public centers of excellence—the Departments of Treasury, Defense and Health and Human Services as well as the Interior Department’s National Business Center and the Agriculture Department’s National Finance Center.
