Avue Partners With Council For Excellence In Government
We are pleased to report that Avue has been chosen as one of the “selected offerors” to become a Shared Service Center (SSC) for the government’s Human Resources Line of Business (HR LOB) Initiative. The selection means that Avue has met all fitness requirements and will now be considered in the final phase of the HR LOB process. We are confident that Avue’s shared service platform excels at meeting the government’s HR LOB requirements.
Agencies Have Answers on HR
We read with great interest your editorial "Measuring hiring success" [Aug. 2 issue], in which you correctly pointed to the dismal record of the federal government in the timely hiring of new workers. However, whether the current system is truly broken or merely process-bound is a different matter.
It should be of interest to you that many agencies are making great inroads in recruiting top-of-the-line talent while greatly reducing hiring cycle times.
Let the Agencies Recruit
We read with great interest your editorial endorsing the Office of Personnel Management's newly announced television advertising campaign. ["TV ads a good start - now, let's see some real funding," May 8 issue.] As a company that provides management technology and services to the federal government - including recruitment and staffing solutions - we spend thousands of hours every month assuring that our agency customers are reaching the broadest, most diverse field of applicants to fill open positions.
