Washington, DC – Avue Technologies, provider of the leading public sector management platform, and Workbrain, Inc., the leading provider of time and attendance and workforce scheduling solutions for the private sector, today announced an agreement to incorporate Workbrain’s capabilities into the Avue platform.
Avue is a private sector shared-services provider that is the market leader in solutions designed to address all aspects of public sector human capital management. The Avue platform is a fully-hosted enterprise-class system of integrated modules that digitize, automate, optimize, track, monitor, and report on the most important management processes. Avue’s platform is accessed by everyone in the organization from the desktop and addresses such processes as performance optimization, position management, compensation management, organizational architecture, recruitment and placement, organizational forecasting, personnel security, payroll integration, and succession planning, among others.
“During the past year, a significant number of our Federal Government clients have identified a need for the Avue platform to include time and attendance and employee scheduling capabilities in order to meet demands for increased visibility and accountability,” said Linda Rix, Co-CEO of Avue. “With broad consensus that Federal Government budgets will be under extreme stress in the coming years, agencies that can show results with the resources they are given by Congress will obviously do better than those that can’t. We are delighted that we are able to add these critical capabilities to Avue using Workbrain, the very best of the best in time and attendance and employee scheduling in the private sector.”
Rix noted that the additional workforce management capabilities enabled by the expanded Avue offering will be essential to those of its clients pursuing emerging management strategies such as managing to budget or FTE, “activity-based costing”, Six Sigma, as well as compliance with requirements of the Government Performance Results Act (GPRA). The data will provide enterprise visibility with complete drill-down capability via standard and ad hoc reports and the Avue Command Center™, a comprehensive executive information system dashboard.
“The incorporation of our solution into AVUE’s offering brings significant value to the Federal sector,” said Steve DeBacco, Workbrain's Chief Operating Officer. "AVUE is ideally positioned serve the Time and Attendance and Scheduling needs of this market.”
The technology philosophy shared by both firms will enable nearly immediate release by Avue of the expanded system capability in two new modules – Avue Time & Attendance, which includes Leave Management and Attendance Management, and Advanced Employee Scheduling. Because Avue and Workbrain share the technology vision of using standards-based, native-web technology, built from the ground up using infinitely scalable J2EE architecture, Workbrain’s software feature functionality can be quickly and easily incorporated into the Avue platform.
