Washington, DC – The Federal Managers Association (FMA) and Avue Technologies today announced an affiliation designed to improve Federal management throughout the government.  FMA is the premier professional association representing the interests of the nearly 200,000 managers, supervisors, and executives serving in today’s Federal government.  Avue Technologies is the leading provider of human capital management solutions for the Federal government.

As an affiliate, Avue will support FMA’s organizational objectives to promote excellence and provide professional development and career enhancement opportunities for Federal managers, supervisors and executives.  Avue will provide FMA members, free of charge, access to an Avue Digital Services (ADS)® portal specifically designed for the organization, which will include, among other features, a talent community devoted to current and future Federal managers; access to the latest information on public sector employment opportunities; and resume-building tools. Additionally, Avue will provide “on demand” customized training geared to address issues and concerns of Federal managers, including career advancement, effective management and veterans preference.

“FMA is proud to join Avue Technologies’ Affiliates Program and endorse Avue Digital Services® as the best automated solution for effective government management,” said Patricia Niehaus, FMA National President. “Avue’s state-of-the-art technology platform will help our members enhance their supervisory skills, advance in their careers and effectively manage the Federal workforce.”

The Avue Affiliates Program is a no-fee, no advertising service to select affinity groups, capturing the leading edge in diversity recruitment and benefiting both Federal agencies, and applicants for Federal government positions. The program provides Avue customer agencies the broadest possible reach, without added costs, and helps affirm their commitment to diversity recruitment.
